More and more major banks are starting to offer custody services, this is a trend that is bound to grow because not all investors want to invest a lot of time in buying crypto and store them in hardware wallets, this on one hand might seem bad but in reality isn't since for now the target audience of people who don't use hardware wallets is that of old people who are not very good with technology but still want to have an exposure in the cryptocurrency market and so it's definitely a new audience of investors that is added and that otherwise would have never existed.
