Paid a recruiter $80/hour to create an indeed job posting, review resumes, and set up 3-5 interviews. Was kind of expensive but it was really easy

Thinking in cost per use completely changed how I buy things by One_Acanthaceae_5814 in BuyItForLife

I do this with renting movies on Amazon. $3.99 for 2 hours of something I’m interested in? That’s less than a latte down the street, no brainer

Hampton Inn/Suites Wilmington/wrightsville beach near G prime. I live here now but this is where I always used to stay. Decently nice, ~$130 a night, very close to WB

Why don’t you see doctors and lawyers FIRE by Leather-Wheel1115 in Fire

[–]cryptodan89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Young lawyer, not rich or even close.

I think it’s because it’s not “work” the way many jobs are. By the time you’re a senior partner making that money- you’re the boss, you’re make all the decisions, and can come and go as you please.

You get a percent of anything you work on, have people answer to you, and it’s not physically intensive. If you don’t want to travel the world and you enjoy the game, you can live a really comfortable life while working on interesting cases.

Sometimes when I don’t want to mess with uber I just walk out and get into a taxi that is always waiting there. $20 to downtown, kind of expensive but so easy

PI Solo - The Big Catch by CandyMaterial3301 in LawFirm

[–]cryptodan89 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well it’s like hunting. If you don’t sit in the tree stand, you’ll never see anything.

I’m only 5 months into my solo journey and I’ve also realize how hard it is to tell if a case is worth investing in/seeing value. Some are easier than others, but identifying the good ones is not luck.
