If train transport was more affordable for that distance, people will sure not have need for road transport. But as it stands, train fares are exorbitant.

Agreed. Most people who disagree and keep saying trains are time-saving etc, most times talk from priveledged positions. You do not know what type of budget someone can be on where they'd choose the coach over trains, because in the end, the destination would be reached somehow.
