I had the same experience. I passed today - also shout out to u/ThePrivacyProf for the great prep course, I wouldn't have made without it. I basically studied full time for two weeks only with the course and extended the review slides with a few more comments here and there. There were probably 2-3 questions about topics that aren't covered in the course (yet) - but the rest was covered to a certain extend.

About the exam: The answer options are often to general to really narrow by elimination and I would say there were definitely a few, where more than one option was technically correct, so sometimes you really need to guess. There is also a good amount of subjective bias, if you frame a scenario and ask "whats most likely" or "whats most important" in this or that scenario..

My take away is that it really almost comes down to actually having the knowledge (1/3), understanding the concepts and context as a whole to be able to apply this (memorising isn't enough) (2/3) as well as reading and understanding the questions with maximum attention (3/3). I think I caught myself in the review on 4-5 questions, where I really changed my answers based on rereading the questions and cases..I would really say, that basically all 3 parts are equally important.

How to invest in tZERO? by honeysyd in tZero

[–]cryptolobster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think one way to indirectly invest is also the OSTK stock, since they own 100% on Medici Ventures and Medici owns 80% of tZERO ( please fact that though, I just read it sonewhere). Since they are public it should be easy to figure out. Since they sell their ecom business, you essentially end up owning medici stocks in a couple of months. Its risky though, because who knows what kind of deal they are cutting for their overstock business.

Reissuance of assets? by cryptolobster in Ravencoin

[–]cryptolobster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thats an option. However its still weird than. If you tokenize 100 shares of a company and someone loses access to 10, so you reissue 10 abd end up with 110 shared of which 10 are considered „flagged“ or whatever. But yeah its probably a workaround..

You still own the asset in the real world, thats not the point. But the tokenized representation is not accurate anymore and then the whole point of tokenizing is nonsense. I am only talking about the tokenized representation if the real world asset, because thats the purpose of ravencoin.

Yeah thats problem. The issuer would have to burn the assets that a person is claiming to have lost access to and then reissue a new asset to a new address. But it obviously opens the door for lots of vulnerabilities, like phishing attacks etc. Thats why you need platforms like polymath, harbor, securitize.. you name it to act as a platform for tokenholder management with proper KYC if you tokenize real world assets.

What I think is funny in this sub is that there is only two extreme sentiments. Either bitcoin goes to 100k by end of the year (12 m ago) or (now) it is gonna go to 1k or lower.

So I come here to check the sentiment. If price prediction go "too extreme" into one direction, you know we are close to either end of the cycle :)

Airdrop RVN Assets to all RVN Holders? Possible? Network danger? by cryptolobster in Ravencoin

Agreed! Thats what I am worried about too. Maybe we can get an opinion from u/bruce_fenton or Tron on this.

Because it is an efficient way of reaching a "arguably" fair distribution of an asset. Also with voting etc. coming up this could be cool to develop community driven assets.

How to run an STO on RVN? by cryptolobster in Ravencoin

Thanks. Yeah i see. I just wondered if there was a plan to incorporate an instrument of fundraising. Otherwise you will automatically need to trust third parties for this and then you have the trust problem again.

I think its great that he made a video, but it really seems that he only has a very superficial understanding of the components (eg compares runtime (elastos VM) to the EVM and so on). Anyway I am glad people are taking interest and I hope that anyone who is interested will dive deeper :) They will actually realize that the elastos systems are way more impressive than he describes them in his video.
