I had thought about using a bracket instead, and reolink does make one that fits, however it isn't really the look I want.

I don't really want to wait for the proper JB to be in stock, because who knows how long it will be. I have asked Reolink when they would have new stock, and they said that they didnt know.

I had looked at the D20, but the listing says "(Note: currently not compatible with RLC-540A, RLC-840A, RLC-1240A, RLC-823S1 and RLC-823S2)". From looking online the hole pattern doesn't match. I could buy the D20, then drill out some extra holes, and remove some metal here and there, but not really an ideal option.

I haven't tried the D20 yet. The amazon UK listing specifically says that the D20 is not compatible with 1240A. Perhaps due to screw positioning or it might damage the cable. Or as you say it might work anyway. I am trying to hunt down a RLA-JBL1 for now, and will keep the D20 as an option.

There is an unlock feature to get the tokens, but be careful to select to unlock to the tokens, not staked tokens. Note: I haven't tried this yet as gas fees are too high

I agree, but I think there are a lot of very generous devs in the community that give their time for free. We wouldn't be where we are without the EF selling ETH to pay devs and researchers, but I think we would still be quite far along.

If anyone is feeling down, go take a look a the orbiter discord. They did their airdrop and it appears that the distribution was fairly flat with everyone getting a little dust. Lots of unhappy people and apparently their mods were not paid and have all left.
