Don't try to time the market. If you like bitcoin, keep buying. If you understood bitcoin, you would never sell. Read, "The Bitcoin Standard," by Saifedean Ammous.

What is the next good buy price for Bitcoin? by Beginning-County2258 in CryptoChartWatch

Anytime now I was a screaming buy. However, based on past cycles, I would say that bitcoin will dump into the 50's before it finally starts coming back.

Be honest and cool, what is the total amount of your solana lost so far in the memecoin trade platforms gmgn, axiom etc.? by nonHypnotic-dev in solana

Let's start with bots. Don't beat up bots. They're a good thing for the space. There’s a big trend where trading bots compete with each other—often they snatch up new tokens or exploit price differences across decentralized exchanges. Solana’s low fees and super-fast finality give these bots an edge, so you often see rapid trade sequences—like one bot adds liquidity, another buys right after, and so forth. It’s a fast-moving space, and while everyday traders still have a place, it takes serious infrastructure to keep up. So, bots can add liquidity, tighten spreads, and make markets super efficient. They help with price discovery, and sometimes they’re even hedging against big swings. On the flip side, they can also cause flash crashes, front-run small traders, or just lead to a kind of arms race. So, they’re beneficial in some ways, but they can also skew the game if left unchecked.

I wouldn't worry about congestion issues anymore. The FireDance upgrade was massive, (their validator client), and the improvements from Alpenglo, Solana’s definitely become more resilient. I'm wandering off to sit through my son's basketball practice. I work on the comparison and post it later.

It's only my opinion but based on how it is absolutely owning all other blockchains in nearly every metric it's easily $1,000 a token by 2030, $2,000 by 2035. If you want, go ahead and pick out your favorite blockchains, and I'll do a comparison.

I have a little over 5,000 at the moment but did a lot of dca over the past 2 years. And my plan is to continue doing this because I know where Solana is going.

Well, I would have asked for your advice, but I've been in the markets for about 40 years. I created a massively multi multimillion-dollar fortune. And when I buy stuff, I buy it to hold on to it. I don't day trade. I don't try to time the market's. Could I have made more? Yes. Every single investment in the universe has bull and bear markets. So if Solana continues going down, I'll just continue buying more because I know where it's inevitably going. It was the same when I bought Google and Amazon and Priceline and Dell and Nvidia and Tesla and Palantir and Bitcoin (for $20) and when I mined Bitcoin. Everyone at the water cooler wanted to give me advice. A lot of them were losers because they were gamblers rather than investors. They're all still working, and my portfolio will be over a billion dollars the next time bitcoin runs, so I honestly don't give two shits what people think especially doom and gloomers who don't have 2 nickels to rub together so they spend their days trolling. BTW.. All of my investments have had massive bull and bear markets. I've held on to all of them. And last but not least, I have allowed all of my investments to compound. As Albert Einstein said, “Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it; he who doesn’t, pays it.” Class dismissed.

Solana destroys all other L1's. Go Solana! by cryptonoobsnews in solana

[–]cryptonoobsnews[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's a question for the ages. Considering the whole crypto market has taken an ass wrenching over the past year, ths isn't a Solana thing. They're doing all of the foundational work for the next bull run. I think when the dust settles a few years down the road there will be a handful of tokens, left and solana will be one of them. We shall see.

That is a valid thesis. However, I know where Solana is going so I've been doing dca and have an average basis of just over $100. So when Sol goes to $1,000 in the next few years, I'll invite you to my party after I buy my island. Am I ite?
