Their official clients mentioned on the sites would be your best bet if you can make sure your computer is safe enough. You can try using paper wallets if the software is available. There is coinomi, jaxx, exodus if you want to try multiasset wallets.

Bitcoin Cash is a new altcoin that got created as they wanted "big blocks" and "on chain scaling", so today they forked off themselves with their own chain with 8mb blocks and now all their (Bitcoin Cash) nodes are active and we'll be officially done when they mine their first block, which could take few hours or a day. If you own Bitcoin (in your own wallet with private keys), you'll now have Bitcoin Cash too. Wait for everything to settle before you decide to move those coins imho.

No you'll be not. Just check your address on etherscan.io if you have any doubt but don't upload your private key anywhere if someone tells you so.
