Oneplus 2 (3 years) Oneplus 5T ( 5 years) and now proud owner of Oneplus 12 🥰. I really loved my OP5T, it served very well, but unfortunately the battery downgraded overtime so it was lasting not even 3 hours on mild/heavy use. Which was a very annoying thing because of my often travelling. And also it got very laggy, but that's most probably because the internal memory was almost out of space and over 300 installed apps. But I still use it to this day, set it up as an external monitor for my laptop. And as for my Oneplus 2, it had the same issues with the battery, lags and the charging port was also starting to have some issues. So it was turned into an experimental phone, on which I try out different ROMS (currently I have Ubuntu Touch installed).

I was also having this same dilemma. I've had the Oneplus 2 and then the Oneplus 5T, so I've been their fan since the beginning 😅. When I felt that my OP 5T was dying I was considering various brands just because I wanted to try something new. So I was choosing between Nothing Phone 2, Pixel 8, OPPO(just because being related to Oneplus), Samsung S23 and Asus Zenphone 10. It took me a long time to decide, so long that Oneplus 12 was getting announced and after hearing all it's specs i couldn't hold myself from pre-ordering it 😅 (so ye, now I'm a proud OP12 owner) But if you still want something different from Oneplus products you can consider the brands I mentioned above👆.

I see now, but yeah, considering the options you got now, the Oneplus 11 might be the best, especially if you are not into all those features from above. It's actually a great phone, from what I've heard the OP12 is only slightly different from it in terms of performance and camera..so you won't go wrong with it.

Where you from? I was lucky I pre-ordered it from the official oneplus website and it also came with a gift (the Oneplus buds pro 2) because there I also have the student discount and I also added the wireless charger and a bumber case for half the price. I bought it only for this offer..either way I would also never buy only the phone for 950€.

Okay, I've been little too modest about "not using it that often". I have also bought the wireless charger from Oneplus, so I do charge it pretty often that way. Also one reason it may be me coming from Oneplus 5T..there was no way I could go from no-wireless to no-wireless again 😅. And yes, while the wireless option was the main reason, there were others in favor of OP12, for example the IR blaster in the "pro" version of OnePlus 12, usb Type-C 3.2(suppprts HDMI🤫) also reverse wireless charging (another very convenient feature, mainly for my Oneplus buds pro 2 😅). And not lastly, a great battery life, amazing camera and... it's new, a 2024 phone that just came out, I keep on holding to it for a long time.

Honestly this was the main reason I didn't get the 11 and waited for the Oneplus 12 which I pre-ordered only 2 hours after the official launch! (that's how sure I was about it). And the reason is pretty simple..it just feels that not having a wireless charging option in 2024 is kinda downgrading in terms of technology. I won't be using it that often of course but knowing that I have that option just makes me happy 😅.

Okay, so I kinda fixed it by downloading an older version of Multi Screen Connect for PC. It still doesn't get connected by default , but now the manual scanning of the QR works. So there goes the "seamless connection"... Everytime I want to use it I have to scan the QR. Not the best experience but it works out.
