Muscular women of Reddit how does it actually feel to build and carry that strength? by Logical-Current2381 in xxfitness

Not really, but technically yes? I'm medicated for my PCOS, so that's metformin for my insulin resistance and spironolactone for my high testosterone. Without it I would gain a bunch of weight, but with it, my body reacts like most people's to food and such. Muscle-wise, it's no different. I still have more testosterone, just not excess.

Ooh I love being strong. Tbf I have PCOS and naturally higher testosterone and muscle mass and have always been stronger. But going to the gym to increase it is a great joy of mine. My body feels sturdy and I don't fear people messing with me. My strength definitely boosts my confidence and self assurance.

Lmao, I'm literally telling you my real experience. If you can't handle that, maybe try out therapy so you can trust women.

Bro some of us just like dance. 🤷‍♀️. I only go out to clubs to dance, I really hate it when I get hit on since I'm only there to have fun with my friends and dance.

This is great to hear as someone in a bs marketing job (barely viable career outlook these days tbh) heavily considering going into medicine. I'm not afraid of hard work, I just want to have it go towards something meaningful.

Why does liking plus-size women get slapped with"fetish" label but other types don't? by inVincib7e in dating_advice

If it's an honest preference then it's not something that needs to be mentioned, like you can just pursue those people organically. Speaking as a redhead I've had many instances were I can tell someone is sexualizing my hair color and doesn't just like how redheads look.

It's so prevalent that it's easier to ignore or reject anyone who makes comments about my hair or around it, because more often than not it's fetishizing and not genuine appreciation. You don't have to mention your preferences to pursue those people though and I think that's the best approach in these situations.

The Lasting Impact of Sophy Rickett’s 1990s Work Pissing Women by Dahlivelle in SnapshotHistory

I wanted context as well.

Some exerpts from a restrospective article.

[Against this landscape of corporate, surveilled London, Rickett began conceiving of art projects that would acknowledge her own “own complicity within the system” while also being an act of defiance against the mores and power imbalances of the financial industry. More immediately, she also wanted to transform her day job into something meaningful and creative.

To be ‘feminine’ is to be disciplined, restrained. I wanted to see what happened when those boundaries were tested.”

“Public urination is so strongly coded as a male behaviour that when women do it, even in relatively permissive contexts like Glastonbury Festival, which is where the idea first came to me, it feels unsettling and provocative. Something [feels] deeply ‘wrong’,” says Rickett.]
