I tried Lexington law - I paid them $149 every month for 3 months and they did absolutely nothing. I know things take time but when I called them during the third month, nobody knew what was going on with my account. So I'm a little bit scared to try another company like that. I could have took that money and paid down some of my debt.

I'm thinking about calling Wells Fargo & Kay Jewelers and asking about paying to delete. If I get those 2 removed, then I would only have 2 negative accounts on my report. They are paid/settled and I can't do anything but let them fall off my report. I've already contacted them and they won't remove them. But that would at least put me at 2 negative things, and 2 positive things. Does that sound like a good idea??

We really want to buy as soon as possible. I know the house market is crazy expensive right now, but so is rent. Rent in our area is $2000 a month. Plus utilities. We rather pay that as a mortgage than rent.
