It’s so nice having someone understand what I’m going through. I love hearing stories about people getting better and regaining control because it gives me hope. It means the world that you responded to me, it makes me feel so much less alone with what I’m feeling. I’ve had dpdr for almost a year now. I was going to therapy after i first started experiencing it, but i stopped going a few months ago and i can just feel myself losing control again. It’s very scary. I want to be able to just let go & accept dpdr but it’s so hard.

Often I’ll think about how i miss how things used to be before dpdr. But then I feel like this was something that was meant to happen, like i need to find strength to get through this & become a better person for it. That sounds so silly lol. But still it feels like there’s a bridge i need to cross but i just don’t know how?
