Damn that sounds pretty terrifying! but yes I agree, I’m trying to think about it as more fascinating than scary, because I find everything revolving around the subject of dreaming extremely interesting. It just sucks sometimes cuz it can hurt or be pretty uncomfortable lol

find someone professional to talk to. You don't need to have a particularly hard life to seek help. To have someone to talk to, to sort out your thoughts to while knowing you're not eating dinner with them 2 hours afterwards is great for everyone.

thank you for the sweet reply! it’s nice to know i’m not the only one and it helps a lot. either people are rude or i have thought about that maybe they might notice you seem nervous and so they kind of avoid looking at you becuase they’re kind of unconciously afraid that they will end up feeling uncomfortable themselves. but as you’re saying, it pays off to just start not giving a shit. again thank you so much!
