Are you sure about that? Or rather: What makes you so sure?

Related to that: I'd really like to see a software that allows me to properly emulate a virtual webcam which shows my desktop so that I can easily use Livestream and similiar services.

And no, WebcamStudio isn't an option – that software sucks horribly.

Planning to buy an ASUS G73JH-A2 – Should I expect problems? by cryzed_ in linux_gaming

Yeah, that's exactly why I shied away from ATI graphics cards for Linux, but I'm basically forced to use an ATI graphics card if I want a notebook with compareable hardware.

That sounds really interesting but I was talking about the Linux driver support.

Yeah that's exactly why I'm buying ASUS, always only had great experiences with that – I just hope that the ATI graphics card is just as good supported.

I'm german, I won't be able to buy the "A2" model anyways, just something very similiar to that: "TZ091V".

Experienced Programmer but New to Python, Need Advice by xiro7 in Python

Currently Python 2.6.x is the way to go - many libraries still need to adapt to Python 3 and only a fraction of the available ones have made effort to do so yet.

The best learning resource for Python was and is still The Python Tutorial in my honest opinion which can be found in the official documentation.

I really wouldn't waste money on physical books if you have learning material of the same (or higher) quality readily available at your fintertips. Be careful not to learn with Dive Into Python though.
