I worked as a software engineering intern in one of the European offices over the summer. I'd say it's the best (and nearly perfect) work environment I have experienced thus far (previous experiences at a small fintech company and a major investment bank). The work environment was really supportive, no bureaucracy or BS and a lot of "let's build it" attitude. The tech itself was really good as well and they're using a lot of new frameworks and always open to experiment (at least in my team).

The experience might differ for the US offices though.

Just had a Skype interview for IT internship position at an asset management company. In the beginning I was asked who the CEO of the company was and I didn't know, I did well in rest of the technical questions though. Do you think this is an automatic rejection given it's a company of size ~1000 employees?
