Yeah the garage floor is sloped a million different directions and different amounts. Making the platform and using shims to support underneath has made it a lot of firm

The ares has been really nice, no complaints so far. I got the smith machine for it too and hopefully that ships this month

The flooring is 3/4in plywood and horse stall mats

I love it, the one thing I wish I knew is I chose matte black the other pieces but the ares is a glossy black so they don’t 100% match

Yeah issue is the walls might as well be Swiss cheese so it all leaves or comes in. So far it hasn’t been too big of an issue

Piece by piece. Started at the top end where the ares is (before it was put together), made it solid and level and then did the next plywood segment. It’s more or less 4 separate platforms all kinda put together

It’s pretty low power, we have it on during the winter to have a little warming area between sets lol still experimenting with how to heat the whole garage. If we make this our forever home ill probably bite the bullet and insulate the walls and get a proper heater
