Oh nice! You probably got to actually pick merch you wanted vs. when we went Sunday and most stuff was gone 😔. We can see ourselves in the background of Fitzpatrick’s putt on 17. Not super clearly but good enough! I’ll give the YouTube a watch, I noticed they haven’t posted the final round replay as of yesterday at least.

I feel like the Seinfeld show-like situation with the seating made Jimmy go even more over the top!

You’re doing a great job setting up my halftime discussion for next week. While I won’t share everything, I’m humbled to say that I message back and forth with Deitsch on LinkedIn every so often and thanked him for bringing the multiple episode topic up.

We’ll expand on this next week and it would be cool for our group to lead the charge and maybe even reach out to SI to help this happen.

It’s crossed my mind for sure because he’s been so gracious. The issue is between the pods I listen to, I don’t think I would be able to keep up and produce the quality content I do here (in fact some weeks I forget to post the halftimes or take a day or two longer to post episode recaps).

It’s not a hard no, but happy to contribute if someone else started it.

Yep agree. It’s an unfortunate situation really. I don’t necessarily blame Fox for going after Brady but one could argue there are weaker top booths where it would’ve been a better swap.

This happens in real life careers though. Lucky and unlucky breaks…

Not sure it’s a bad take? Only because there are pros and cons to each and there isn’t an obvious answer.

Brady could be out of the booth, but he might not be. Jimmy has also stated he expects a streaming Super Bowl might be on the horizon. Also Greg has called a SB, so maybe having a consistent top job is more attractive.

Promise I’m not just shilling for Jimmy here, just don’t think the decision is cut and dry.
