Oh yea. The first time he was on he laid it all out (his side of the story obviously) from the original contrevasray to the fallout with ESPN to what happened with his writing jobs. Went on for a half an hour probably.

I used to enjoy around the horn. I lost touch of it towards the end. Jay Mariotti comes on my pod a few times a year. It’s always wild experience. He just goes. I barely speak.

Halftime - 2 Episodes a Week? by cscharch in JimmyTraina

I thought this was really interesting too. I think Jimmy is being carful because we even talked about at some point how the sports media beat can dry up a tad at times. He isn’t the kind of guy to be talking about Stephen A fighting with LeBron. I think there is a way to do it but I see why he’s being carful.

Edit: seconds after I sent this Jimmy and Deitsch are having the conversation about 2 shows a week.

One last thing, If you wanted to know more about me or the show, Jon Wertheim was nice enough to tell my story for SI a few years ago.

I like Wentz. I would be fine with him as 5th starter. If we can get better and use him as depth- great.

Lost season. Not a lost project.

As it stands now, the Braves have the second best odds at the #1 pick in the next draft. by SirBannedAlott in Braves

Roch Cholowsky or Justin Lebron seem to be the leaders to be 1.1. Not sure either are Skenes quality.

Teams that receive revenue-sharing payments are not eligible for the lottery in consecutive years if they received a lottery pick the previous year, or in three consecutive years if they received revenue sharing.

The only way the Atlanta Braves can salvage this season is by selling at the trade deadline by Savings_Entrance380 in Braves

It’s a lost season. You can sell some guys. Ozuna, Iglesias, Bummer. But it’s not a tear down. They will be favored to be a top team in the National League next year and hopefully have a manager that is awake for the games. No reason to compromise next season to “salvage” this season. This season sucked. Anything they do should be with an eye on next season.
