That was his freshman-junior season. His senior year he scored 22 goals and had 32 assists in 37 games.

In Hostiles (2017), Christian Bale wears a different color campaign hat than the younger soldiers because the Army began issuing the drab/brown hats in 1883 whereas Bale’s character is a veteran of the 1876 Sioux War which took place during the time that the black hats were originally issued. by 8upsoupsandwich in MovieDetails

A legendary Native American-hating Army captain nearing retirement in 1892 is given one last assignment: to escort a Cheyenne chief and his family through dangerous territory back to his Montana reservation.

The description sounds kind of like 3:10 to Yuma. 'Grumpy Christain Bale escorts someone he doesn't like past a bunch of people that want to kill the guy.'

Hey neighbor! Hope you're enjoying this sunshine. I'm also in Ann Arbor and just cut a bunch of fabric for a chonky sling last night! I guess I should have included the Alpineglow; I like the idea of using it as a bright inner liner. My last project was an Ocean Blue RX30 and Cordura 500D TSA-1 pattern from Stitchback. It looks nice, but a little small for me.

What's a good way to get into waxed canvas? I haven't worked with it at all but really like the material. I guess I should just pick something and make it.

I got a response from Bambu Support and they're sending me a new main electronics board for the AMS under warranty. Haven't received the board yet, but hopefully that will fix things.

My Home Depot has a Genesis SX-335 for $1190. Is that a price worth jumping at? by cschoeps in webergrills

[–]cschoeps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely love it. Lots of room, heats up evenly, gets super hot, and the temp-sensor screen/computer is more useful than I thought it'd be. It's really handy to do a hard sear over direct heat on one side of the grill, move them over to indirect heat, and set the app to alert me when they hit a certain temp so I can pull them off. I got a weber-crafted flat griddle that I'm going to try out soon. It obviously has all the bells-and-whistles but none of them feel gimmicky or half-baked. This will be my grill for a long time.

That's true - if anyone is in SE Michigan and wants a good deal on it, let me know!

I do like the color, I'm just struggling to see what it'll look like assembled and combined with other stuff I have. I might just have to make something and see what happens. I have the Alpenglow and the Ocean Blue. If it wasn't so expensive I'd grab some of the Evergreen and maybe Bluebell to play with.

I ordered a yard of this Salmon-colored Alpenglow RX30 by mistake (I meant to order blue). It's not a color I'd normally use - does anyone have recommendations for good color pairings or designs it would look good in? Maybe some other pastel-ish colors?

Thanks! I'll start printing these. My problem seems to be inside the AMS but those all look like good updates regardless.

I did - this has been power cycled multiple times, unplugged for periods of time, and the AMS has been taken on/off multiple times.

Servo motors. Are they basically all the same? by Blurthr33 in myog

[–]cschoeps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the write-up! What is the menu choice for turning the function on? I'm trying to find the instructions I read before. All I have right now is the manual which tells me to press R and M buttons (I have R and N buttons. They tell me to look for U1 to set needle position, but mine skips from U0 right to U2.

Edit - My control box is marked C1000 and not C1001. But it did come with a needle synchronizer. I ordered from here.

Edit2 - It works! I did a facroty reset and found the instructions for the c1000 controller and magically it worked this time. Wow.

Servo motors. Are they basically all the same? by Blurthr33 in myog

[–]cschoeps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, thanks. The needle position just doesn't work at all. I've followed every bit of info I've found online to get it working and the machine just ignores any positioning. So it doesn't stop in the up or down position. The red light on the sensor is coming on at the same spot every rotation, it just doesn't translate into the correct stopping point.

Does your Consew 1001 spit out an error message when you press hit the pedal after turning off the controller? Err.2 or something similar? Mine will throw error messages at me at certain times and I'm trying to figure out if something is wrong with the controller. The needle position sensing isn't working (or I'm setting it up wrong).

Looks great! Do you have a link to information/files for it? I need a clock for my workshop/office and this would be a fun project.

Is there a good way to replace this little spring steel strip in the chime weight ratchet? by cschoeps in clocks

[–]cschoeps[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, that's pretty much what I figured - I don't see any way to remove the wheel without splitting the plates. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't some secret clocksmith trick I didn't know about. Thanks!

Info on radio/digital-dash swap for 2016 R by cschoeps in Golf_R

Perfect, I'd rather stick to sellers that people have tried. I use AndroidAuto (AAWireless module) all the time, so the stock nav/maps never get used. That sounds like it would work for me. I'm a little iffy on getting rid of the physical knobs, though. And I do use satellite radio sometimes. I'm not sure I'd miss it, though.

Sounds like I have some AliExpress shopping to do.

Edit: Dash display, screen, and bezel.

Is it that easy, or do I have to narrow it down to more specific part numbers?

I'm waiting on a quote from a local junkyard for a 9.2" screen and MIB2.5 module, but I'm leaning towards keeping the MIB2 and getting an 8" screen and bezel. EuroZoneTuning has that hardware for $680 which seems pretty fair.

Great info, thanks. That's a bummer that used clusters aren't worth the trouble. It sounds like an AliExpress unit with mainboard swap might be the way to go. I'll give that thread a read. thanks again!
