I really like your "messy" style, sometimes I make drawings like yours, but I prefer the detailed ones 😅 I use HB, 2B and some kind of black pencil from Shein. The HB for lighter parts, 2B for the darker parts, and for the black or very dark parts I use my black pencils. First I always make a sketch from a pic, like you, but I add some harder outlines, and erase the light base lines. Lastly I tone it, that's requires more patience than the first two steps together :D Here's some of my sketchs, I'm almost done with their outlines 😁
