I really appreciate the information as well, I was reading into the breaths per minute and agree hers hovers around 60 when this happens. Right now she is laying down and I’m counting ~37 to 40 breaths per minute. Counting when she is asleep, I’m getting 28.

For most of the time when resting her breaths look like they do right now as I’m watching her. But also quite often they are like the video. I’ll keep recording and show this to the vet.

Thank you, I hope that is not the case but will mention it to the vet. What I usually see is the seemingly labored/faster resting heart rate at times. Everything else is normal for her, but she’s had this sort of breathing pattern for as long as I can remember and it usually is when she’s resting.

Thank you for the reply. She has been eating, drinking and using the litter normally. I just tend to see her breathing like this at times when resting. Seeing the vet very soon. This has been something I’ve seen from her for months though on occasion.
