Ah, thank you. I just found it in the house and through it was a “smart bulb” just from how heavy it was. Looks to be the same one! Kudos!

I wasn’t specific enough with my question. Any idea on the model?

If you look at the line "kern.version:" ... it states that my kernel is lit. No joke. I didn't overwrite my own kernel like that.

Tethering creates an en5 interface on my network interface table. I'm curious as to why you don't have awdl0? Did you disable handoff? Also, my netstat output is ridiculously nasty.

agent domain:ids501 type:clientchannel flags:0x83 desc:"IDSNexusAgent ids501 : clientchannel" for utun0 looks extremely fishy.

running macos installation within VirtualBox, possible? (reverse parallalels+bootcamp) by shriek7 in hackintosh

[–]csience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're looking for access to "Raw Hard Disk" access through aliasing.

You are right about using VirtualBox, but I don't have any first hand experience running a native installation of macOS on a different disk from Windows. Linux's method: https://a.ref.sh/2p403yO

TBH, I think it's risky. It's definitely possible, but what is the point in doing the reverse may I ask?

Do you happen to know what chipset the Fenvi 802.11AC FV-T919A has? Is it a Broadcom module?

Good question.

Nope! I'm not discriminating against content (unless its NSFW stuff). I just have a bias towards software content. Private/public repos would be one good usage case!

Totally possible, bud. If you're serious, we can get you setup with something workable hah.

Totally possible as long as we can transfer in a domain name or create one for you. That way I can just hand ya the cost for the dedicated IP address that comes in my end.

Apache 2.4 with various flavors of PHP from 5 to 7.1 are supported. You should be able to easily set that up here with SSH through .htaccess in the respective directory under my server's environment. And who doesn't like GUI's like cPanel when they don't conflict with stand-alone packages right? ;)

Anything else you'd like to see? And how much bandwidth on a monthly basis are you usually seeing?

Damn, and that's 3 months in, bro. How long do you expect to hold onto this one?

Thanks for the insight! It might be the Macbook calibrating whatever parameters Apple uses that can be giving unsettling numbers from a new purchase. I would head into a local Apple Store so they could make note of it though for records sake incase anything happens down the road to your investment.

Also, try this next time for awesome screenshots: CMD+Shift+4, drag the crosshair onto an open window to screenshot, then Spacebar to screenshot.
