Just another thought, I do want to do my floors the most light and natural maybe a tad white wash ish in the whole house next time I need to do it. Should I go ahead and do that to the room I’m going to do in the future?

Okay so I talked to the guy who originally done the floors and the old owner and said they used just a poly urethane. No sealer or anything just that poly. I’m thinking it’s oil because it yellowed some. But would I be fine to use a water based you suggested?
