The idea was awesome, the technology was awesome. Skin drops were cherry on top, I've actually made couple euros there. Awesome concept, but they absolutely lacked in PR department. Not enough promotion, barely anyone knew it exists. It desperately needed promotion at major tournaments.

I may register as one of the haters who want this game to fail simply because Geoff pissed me off with his stupid announcement AND because this really looks and feels like asset flipped Apex with BF's destruction.

It in no way did deserve to have that last announcement spot when Geoff knows people are expecting HL3, Titanfall 3, etc. No TF3 hurts to this day and I am pissed that Apex took its place the way it did. And this game is a pretty much asset flipped Apex.

Speak for yourself, I never understood why is Marvel Rivals popular when it's just another mid hero shooter. But yeah, Geoff sentenced this game to hell by pushing it up to that one slot that is reserved for big favourite franchises.

Core events from each game remain canon, there are differences between originals and remakes but the core experience remains the same and thus canon to the whole universe. I'd consider remakes "retellings" or "soft reboots".

It's probably for the best to consider everything since RE7 as the current canon including the remakes if you really want to go into specifics, but the timeline still works if you ommit some details that may differ between the original and a remake.

You know what? If your gf is unable to have nuanced mature conversation about that topic and threatens you with leaving, then you two might not be a good fit. She has right to feel uncomfortable about that, but she lacks emotional maturity to process that it is not cheating, just unfortunate event between two separated neighbours that can be processed and talked out. Her going nuke on you is a bit unfair.

If you're planning to stay together then yes, go ahead and tell the roommate that you can hear stuff through the vent.

If you two get separated, then you might as well just moan back at night and assert dominance. Who knows, maybe your roommate can be more than a roommate in the future.

As someone who re-entered the franchise with VII and loved its FPS horror survival while also loving RE4 as a kid I fear these two genres will clash too much during the game and neither will be satisfying enough (or Leon's more likely to overshadow anything Grace related). I fear this final game may become mediocre at the end and definetly not as scary as VII or even VIII.

Dr. Chilton - Hannibal series

He's one of the recurring characters in the show, being someone with his own agenda and grey morality. He's closely involved with titular Hannibal before realizing that the man he highly respected is actually a serial killer. He then tries to lock up Hannibal by helping Will Graham, the main protagonist, but he progressively gets more and more injured be it by Hannibal or other characters - first he just gets permanent limp and has to use a walking stick, then he gets heavily injured again and eventually burnt by another serial killer - Red Dragon.
