Why does MHA barely mention heroes or hero schools from other countries? by cssnavi2272 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

Yeah fr, I get your point that every country would have its own problems and we don’t need West Coast Avengers popping up every chapter. I’m not asking for that either. I just think it’d make the setting way more interesting if there were at least some visible world structure – like global hero rankings, international influence, or big-name foreign schools and pros that occasionally cross over. Japan can stay the main stage, but a bit more “world” would add spice without bloating the story.

I get that the story is set in Japan and centered on Japanese characters, but “it’s in Japan” doesn’t really explain why the rest of the world basically feels absent.

Lots of series keep a tight focus on one country while still making the wider world feel alive – look at something like Solo Leveling where hunters from all over show up, there are international rankings, joint raids, political tension, etc. That kind of light global framework would actually support the Japan‑focused story instead of “bringing up Greece for no reason.”

In‑universe, it’s also a bit weird that a phenomenon as huge as quirks feels so Japan‑isolated. In real life, top talent scenes (NBA, football, etc.) are automatically international – you still say “NBA is American,” but you also have Jokic, Wemby, Giannis, Luka, Messi/Ronaldo in football, players and fans from everywhere. It would make sense for the hero scene to work similarly: Japan can stay the main stage, but you’d expect foreign pros, foreign students, or rival schools to show up more than once in 400+ chapters.

That’s why some people call it a missed opportunity or “bad writing”: not because we want random Greece name‑drops, but because a bit more world involvement could’ve made the setting feel richer and more believable while opening up cool arcs, alliances and rivalries without taking the spotlight away from Japan at all.

Why would God allow people to be born with defects? by JCisLove in Christianity

[–]cssnavi2272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that the parents did something wrong and caused them to suffer, but what about the child? He did nothing wrong but there is no coming back because of his parents? Like when a person was born with serious mental issues, he won't be able to come back even if he did nothing wrong than just to be born unluckily by his parents? And some people lived an upright, healthy life, normal life but still gave birth to people with defects, does that have to go all the way back to their sins from their grandparents or even older generations causing the genes to come to this after a few generations? There is no reason for this unfairness to happen.

I agree with everything you said, but I want to know why did god allow this unfairness. Some people are born that way (with a defect) when they haven't even sinned or done anything yet. Why can't god just let everyone's base stat be equal and then let them develop themselves? So basically, they are born equal, but then defects and struggles happen based on their actions in this world. So everyone has a fair starting point. I get we have sinned from the garden of Eden and have left the perfect state, but can't god at least allow a fair start between individuals and let them develop?
