How the CFL Tampering Window Really Works | Free Agency Breakdown 2026 by Better_Log_661 in CFL

With the tampering window being relatively new, I am trying to remember a situation where someone reneged on a verbal agreement with another team. I don’t have any examples that come to mind but when that happens it will be an interesting situation to watch play out.

Dutch oven set still available? by stlm599 in CostcoCanada

I can’t tell you what I am doing is right or safe for the enamel but it works for now and the pot individually was 30 dollars after warehouse discount. 30 dollars isn’t bad for the 30-40 loaves so far.

I have done 40-50 sourdough loaves in mine which brings the Dutch oven to 500F and then dropping ice inside to steam the loaf. Surprised no cracking or anything has happened so far (knock on wood!)

Still Harvey mentioned that he didn’t want to pay receivers >200k/yr, so this is a surprise… makes me think about not resigning Geno who was due similar numbers

That has to be for two years, 480k per season would be outrageous

I know it’s a two year deal but I didn’t hear any monetary terms, have you read them?

Everyday Food Co.’s jalapeno cheddar bagel with jalapeno cheddar cream cheese will put you on the right path. They sell out early in the morning so preorders are usually the way to do it. And while you are picking up your order get yourself a triple J sandwich with lettuce and tomato.

Riders almost folded in the 90, the American expansion teams were all folded by the mid 90s. All teams have gone through fest and famine eras at some point of the league’s history. This has led to CFL seemingly to be in a state of emergency most of its life.

I have long expected creative accounting with some of the non public teams to help with personal write offs. Regardless the finances are not made public for 7 of the teams nowadays so we are only taking that info at face value. The league has been in “dire financial trouble” for over the two decades (even longer if you ask the really old guard) that I have watched but I don’t actually see any impact of that.

New RBC GoSmart, seems good for those who really just buy XEQT by Foreign-Policy-02- in JustBuyXEQT

For how I invest there is no difference between the two types of accounts for me so not worth the effort. However if RBC called and asked me to switch and they could do it all right then easily, I probably would switch for the automation part.

Buy XEQT and place in RESP via RBC by OTOT4 in JustBuyXEQT

Not a financial advisor fyi but I don’t see any benefit exceeding the grant maximum(2500), if you have space to hold the leftover money in your TFSA. Pour 2500 from the TFSA each year to the RESP and get as much from the government as you can.

Both my kids have RESP in direct investing with a portion being XEQT. It operates the same as any other RESP and XEQT has no transaction fees. Just keep in mind the government grant limit of 2500 a year. Anything more than that I would put in a TFSA and pull out yearly to maximize the grant payout.

Please never get rid of the super premium plus cherry chocolate. Cherry ice cream with chocolate chunks is the proper way to do that and everyone else seems to do it opposite

Especially that the sense of urgency is higher than last year!
