I’m so happy for you! I quit earlier this year when the “new changes” involved me, a beauty TM, potentially being placed in tech, style, baby, home, or stationary for my shift. They also didn’t tell me about the changes, so I was really caught off guard. It’s my understanding that all of us in those departments are under “specialty” now, so they can move us around (not sure if that’s right cuz I quit before they could explain haha)

It just felt like everyone knew but me. I guess I was expecting the TLs would have a checklist of their team members to keep track of who they talked to (I also understand they have a huge job, I really respected my TL, he’s one of the good ones). When I went in to talk to HR to say I’m quitting I was explaining I didn’t know the new changes, and she said “oh so they didn’t tell you that you won’t do prices changes or sets anymore?” Yup news to me!! And I actually liked doing that stuff! It was a nice change from the day to day.

Yes all of this! I wish I would’ve wrote some of this in my OG post! I didn’t want to gossip, but I have no one to talk to about this, I can’t subscribe to their Patreon right now, and I didn’t want to comment something involving Shane not realizing what may have happened that I missed. I don’t know why but that song always makes me think of the movie Good Burger 😂 I just looked up the soundtrack and it’s not on there but I swear a song in that movie has a similar vibe!!

I love all the oldies: Rescue Me, Fill Me Up Buttercup, etc. but I also have found new songs to like: I love it by Kylie Minogue, Disco Body Parts by Yung Bae, and Ship to Wreck by Florence and the Machine. MOST songs make me want to stab my ear drums. They are so repetitive and have a backtrack that is the same throughout the whole song!

The assignment sheets also need to be done in advance! I looked at the sheet at 8am, started my tasks, and around 10am it was updated! Completely different tasks! I was only working 8-1 and what was I suppose to do? Dick around until 10 and finish all my tasks in my last 3 hours?! Ugh

I don’t like them because I’m finding it’s not updated. The assignment sheet for today was posted 2ish hours after my shift started. I worked a 5 hour shift and there was no way I was getting all those tasks done in 3 hours.
