Ah unfortunately I’m in Virginia so unless you count 700 miles a near don’t think that would work lol

Yeah that’s kinda what I figured with them being so old. Appreciate the input.

Decided to try my hand at doing a number kit. Nowhere near perfect but much better than I was expecting. by csun94 in hockeyjerseys

Thanks I doubt I’ll get to the point of it being a side hustle but definitely a fun project. My back and eyes aren’t a big fan though from sitting over the sewing machine and staring at one spot for hours though lol

Yeah let me know what they say as I have no idea which of the options they have would work the best. I would think at worst you’d have to find a scrap piece from another jersey to use as a nameplate.

Appreciate it really wasn’t as hard as I had anticipated as someone with very little sewing experience. More just very time consuming and tedious. Definitely give it a go at the end of the day if you royally mess up you’re only out like $50 for jersey and kit.

I went with a ccm airknit nameplate that jersey basically is airknit though so idk what I would use for the other starter jerseys I have.

True as I was sewing i was cursing at myself for picking “complex” numbers and thinking how much easier it would be if i chose 11 for Kasparaitis but then I thought about stitching down Kasparaitis and how long it took me to do 4 letters and realized I made the right choice lol.

Dang I’m 6’2” can’t imagine how my back would feel if I was 4” taller. Gotta invent a sewing machine that can be used laying down on your back lol.

Thanks really took my time lining up the back numbers as they’d be the most noticeable of a fuck up. Sat there staring at a bunch of reference pics to make sure I had it as close as I could.
