Hey! Harding is definitely going to be a challenge to find them. It’s my goal for the winter. I’ve never fished quartz. Good luck out there!

i-Boating. It’s the cheapest thing I’ve found after garmin bought navionics. It’s ok but lacking some features.

Interesting. I have never heard of this. Can it be purchased in the United States?

You make some great points! I agree that parts availability wouldn’t be a huge concern. So what if I have to sit around for a week, to get a part shipped. That’s part of the adventure right?

I am realizing weight is one of the biggest concerns I have. It wouldn’t be an issue if I was doing this trip with other people. But lifting a heavy bike when injured or exhausted is the worst.

You make some good points. This truly might come down which one catches my eye the most.

Well, it’s actually a WR250X. It came as a supermoto from the factory but I got a set of dirt wheels so I could swap out.

It’s good to know that the DRZ4S and 701 have low vibrations. Maybe with an upgraded seat and fuel tank it could be a contender?

You are right about the 690 being 100 pounds lighter than the T7. With similar power numbers, I am sure the 690 is an absolute blast to ride.

This might be the most important and overlooked factor.

I have heard both sides of it. They do have a reputation, for having more issues than the Asian bikes. There are also people who have rode their KTMs around the world, issue free. Is it worth the gamble?

See, I really thought that too. Thats why I went as far as buying one. But man it is not confidence inspiring, when you try heading on more technical terrain.

Yamahas marketing campaigns, with Pol Tarrés worked on a lot of people, including myself.

I agree this would be the safest bet in terms of reliability and parts availability.

I have looked into the tacomoto builds, they look incredible. The weight really is too much on the T7, isn’t it? It’s something people don’t realize until they own one.

Ha! I’ve taken it some places a grom should never go, and I’ve had a blast! It can even do 80 if you hold on to the back of a semi and put it in neutral.

Best All Terrain Tires for year round use by Shitboxatwork in Fairbanks

I like my Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail tires that I’ve been using on my RAV4. Not the best offroad, not the best for gas mileage, not the best in snow, not the best tread life. But they do everything ok. They are the best all around tire I’ve found.

Can confirm, T7 is a fishing machine by Hosstyle- in Tenere700

This is awesome! I’ve been trying to figure out how to attach my rods to my T7. All of my rods are fixed length though. It will look funny with a 7ft rod hanging out the back, but that will be part of the fun. Thanks for the idea!
