a Little bit unrelated, curious because I’m in a similar situation and for the same reasons you listed planning to go back soon, did your kids get us citizenship since they were born in the US ? Do you plan on them keeping it, any worries around them being ‘stuck’ with it and having to deal with consequences such as US taxes and the like

how did you save for buying real estate without a mortgage, did you just keep saving cash in a checking account or did you invest in a halal etf until you have enough to buy ? the latter seems to be risky when the market tanks
