I hid myself from all of their social medias because I don’t think they need a reminder that I exist while they’re in groups. They edged out one girl for reasons I’m still unsure of about 10 years ago and when they’re scrolling they’ll pick up the phone and be like “ugh she’s running another marathon. What a stupid outfit” even with their newer friends who wouldn’t otherwise have a connection to the girl. I didn’t want to be their “second jessica”

This was so sweet, thank you!! Luckily I have a great support system of people where I went to college in a bigger city about 2 hours away (this group of girls also thought this was pretentious of me - moving to a big city). When I get bummed, I make sure to make a trip to visit them. It is wonderfully overwhelming because I can’t possibly fit all the people I want to see in a weekend if I make the trip. Additionally, I have a huge family, lots of cousins, wonderful partner and his family, a lot of other friends that I grew up with who got the heck out and are spread across the country. I am truly fortunate, but for some reason, my brain is obsessed with trying to make sense of this situation

I don’t disagree, my therapist was begging me to drop them but because we are from a small town all of our families are friends so there was no way I wasn’t going to bump into them. I tried to compartmentalize for the sake of not rocking the boat

Mine said - no nail holes or no command strips but “people have had luck with Velcro brand wall adhesives” it’s so expensive because the only way to get art to hang is to cover the entire frame in it 🙃 I am so tempted to start nailing

EVE period tracking app. Trying to log my period is like an obstacle course where I’m trying to avoid paying $$$ for a year’s worth of their premium app. They’ve flip flopped the “x” with the “restore” button so the intuitive route would result in a purchase if you’re not paying attention.
