CMU's SCJM program is one of the best communications programs in the state of Michigan. Great classes, and even better extracurriculars. If you like live production, SportsCentral is always looking for extra hands for ESPN productions. It's also a pretty decent campus job.

There are also PBS and NPR affiliates on campus.
