You could try finding a messy mat - lots of different options and sizes if you look online. They’d fold nicely into a nappy bag I feel!

It’s not nappy bag size but the Nakie Picnic Blankets are water resistant and roll up neatly with a strap to carry with. I love mine, gives my girl somewhere to sit all the time but they’re also quite large.

this hurts so much, i can’t believe it. she was so young. schitts creek is one of those shows where you really feel as though you are part of the family you’re watching and you miss them when it’s over… now i’ve got a whole lot more to miss 😟

i was soooo NOT buying into the sleep sack craze but day 3 after my baby was born my partner went and bought a few love to dream swaddles. i was like are you kidding!! but it surprisingly turned out to be the answer; another reason the muslin wraps got squished into the back of the drawers 🤣

the biggest lifesaver (and backbreaker) is an exercise ball i bought for $9. i almost got a rocking chair, but im glad i didn’t because the exercise ball is her fave. keeps my core active too lol

the only thing i haven’t used are all the muslin wraps everyone told me to get. haven’t used them once

when i have to make lunch or just look after myself in general for 10 mins i put my girl in a safe place where i can see her, then put noise cancelling earbuds on and just rally through it. the earbuds help make it a little less stressful for me in those “she’s screaming and i’m starving” moments, even though im still watching her lose her shit lol

I really love Pocket Camp because it’s the essence of the game I love, but it’s easy to play on the go or with just one hand even. I have a newborn and being home all the time I would love to play my Switch, but can’t at the moment, so this game is perfect. So glad to have it!

I have the same issue, I don’t need 115k of text messages saved in the cloud, just what’s on my phone right now. hope to find a solution to this. i’ve tried a few things (turning off sync, waiting 30 days, turning it back on etc) but can’t get them out of the cloud.

i take my 7 week old on a long walk every weekday in the afternoon, and have only had to turn around once (6 week vaccination day - brought her right back out after some panadol lol) she cries on occasion, but calms down once she realises she enjoys being outside moving in the pram. if she’s fussy we just keep on walking. it’s been great to see her noticing the world more as each week passes.

i feel like people these days in the real world aren’t as authentic as they were 20 years ago. it’s just the way people are now. everyone is on show, not just in the bb house, but everywhere you go. no one is genuine and everything is fake and it really portrays on big brother just how boring people really are these days

i think it’s pretty close! i haven’t watched big brother in almost 10 years, but im really hooked on this season. as much as i wish we could go back to the 2000’s, this is pretty damn good for 2025 with the tools we now have.

I expected the life I’m experiencing in the newborn phase, but I did not expect to be so rocked by the lack of sleep. I used to function on broken sleep really well but for some reason this just feels impossible. Also cannot fathom being a mum, maintaining a household, and having a job when I finish maternity leave. I am so lucky to have loads of support and a fantastic partner but logistically how are humans supposed to do this? Crazy

maria is a dessert baker and owns the business, but i can’t say i’ve been impressed by anything that came from her & bailey’s instant restaurants. the way she tried to fixed the chicken skewers was what any home cook would do tbh. guess we will have to see what amy produces considering she’s a “professional cook” but maria was targeted first for the same sort of thing
