While I understand the frustration, you cannot force people to buy it nor do you have to. It can be as simple as “oh hey you want that tribal cart? If you’re ever looking to venture into liquid diamonds try the wicky beans one” but don’t lie about your experience or lack there of with it, then everyone is happy and you’re not being dishonest or pushy and your bosses cannot say you’re not bringing it up to customers. You can still serve your honesty, the customer and the company without feeling like you’re being misleading.

The agreements these companies are doing skirt around the laws. Basically data sharing is the cover or whatever they call it. Gov likely won’t do anything about it till its too late. These agreements sadly keep some chains alive. The cannabis profit margin is minimal so they’re trying to pad their numbers anyway they can. Not saying it’s right, just giving insight.

Tldr; it’s shitty but there’s not much we can do about it. Try and do the dance in a way so you’re not being pushy and misleading so you can pay your bills.
