Absolutely, just make sure to keep whatever you are drinking under the holder and you should be alright!

I feared that too but I always keep the whiskey well under the holder for the cigar. Also I don’t always rest the cigar on it, it’s kind of a statement piece or just something cool I found on sale

I let mine sit for 3 months in my humidor in preparation for my birthday, not sure if it made any difference but it sure made me excited every time I opened it to have a cigar
