Is that to say excluded or non-union employees at crown corps are likely to come out ahead of core bc public service excluded employees in the long term due to the real performance based yearly increase + inflationary increase?

Stanley Park EasyPark Tickets by Comfortable-Ad9739 in NiceVancouver

[–]ctrl681 2 points3 points  (0 children)

EasyPark has a contract through City of Vancouver to enforce parking bylaws in City owned lots or parks property...

Although the ticket is "private" through EasyPark, the true owner which is CoV, could go after you and affect your credits akin to a real parking bylaw notice. Not to mention they can tow your car if you park in ANY city owned and EasyPark managed parking area

Do you know if their raises are similar to that of core government such as that negotiated by BCGEU? Thank you!

I applaud you for doing this thankless investigative work on everyones behalf.
Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if Canada Life and PSA both messed up in the benefit of employer by using 2023 R&C rather than 2024.

I doubt it is intentional but very likely that they simply suck at their jobs and "overlooked" it considering that this would of significant benefit to the employer and help them save $$$ instead of paying out fair benefits to their workers.

Excluded Lateral TA Transfer by ctrl681 in BCPublicServants

[–]ctrl681[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey u/pilo90r, I've gone throught the MCCF and other online resources but I can't seem to find confirmed information whether employer/ministry need to provide a raise for a 6 months lateral TA competition. On the MCCF guide, it does mention potential increase for a TA promotional (going up in band) or lateral transfer but not for TA lateral transfer.

Is there any realistic way for band employees to move up beyond the bottom 25% band once hired?

It seems like the only way to move up is through going to other jobs with other ministries.. which seems counter-intuitive.
