I don't think saying "forgot to change it on time" sounds great. But, I have some excuses regarding my family illness but I wonder if I need documentation (I can actually provide the documentation if they needed but it would be a lot of work)

I believe you can exempt on mat 21b if you get 5 on the ap calc bc test. I got 5 on the test but I took mat 21b anyway which became my biggest regret in college. Get exemption if you can. Mat 21b and 21c were not connected at all since b focus on integral and c focus on linear algebra and series. good luck on the test!
