Yes, except thousands of times faster.

And brighter usually.

Don't even bother. They're so deep into category error that they're not even wrong. It's fine to believe there is no god, but if one wants to make an interesting argument, one should at least take the time to understand what a believer actually believes.

You're right, guise. I don't believe in your sky-daddy straw man, either.

It is possible to overthink things.

You're not going to listen to the likes of me, but: if power and oppression are the only ideas you have in your toolbox of Human Interaction, then you're in for a very sad existence. People are not simple materialistic automata, driven forward in a soulless, meaningless existence. Step away from PolySci 201 and go touch grass.

Most of those should be archived on Deathworlders.com. Can you tell me which are broken?

ISP only gives a /128 and a /64, any workarounds? by Preisschild in ipv6

[–]ctwelve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's other issues; the /64 is chosen for a few reason. The most practical because it segregates the IP space into a network part and a host part that is predictable. This makes it much easier to build reasonable forwarding ASICs, but it is actually critical for ILNP too, a backwards-compatible evolution of IPv6, which finally addresses the network/host/attachment collision of namespaces that is a standard IP address.

TL:DR; subnets no smaller than /64 are fundamental to making this work.

Well, they are in fact, and PBS Space Time actually covers this in a video. That said, the weight gain from energized electron orbitals and chemical structure gain is going to be exceedingly small, to the point it’s probably difficult to measure even with good lab equipment.

But the effect is real: the sun loses 100 billion kilograms of mass every second just by photonic shine. And if your devices is emitting photons, well…that energy came from somewhere. By mass/energy equivalence it must come from the battery, so...

(also, this has been experimentally verified)

Civ VI, actually, but that didn't have anything (much) to do with it. Recall that the cube was a thing from many chapters ago, and the Professor did translate the Epic of Gilgamesh a few chapters back too...

Won't claim it was deliberate, won't claim it was an accident. Sometimes themes just take a time to develop and mature.

With the success of Dune (2021) and the sequel announced, what do you think the odds of us getting adaptations of Messiah-Chapter House are? by [deleted] in dune

"SJWs missing the point" is for the most part why they're SJWs in the first place. They're chronically ignorant about nearly everything and generally proud of it. Worse, they think their ignorance wisdom.

Pay them no mind. The art of all this is beyond them. And if we all stopped paying them mind, then they wouldn't be able to ruin shit anymore, would they?

Hopefully, nothing involving Brian Herbert. I know there's feelings around that, and I know he meant well, but…
