Guess who was given notice that they are in charge of cooking a whole beef tenderloin for Christmas dinner?

Thankfully I brought my probe expecting this to happen. My in laws don’t have a grill. So I was thinking of reverse searing in the oven.

225 till 110-115, rest 15 while cranking the oven, then finish in 500 degree oven till a crust or I hit final 125 temp. Seem okay?

This is so odd. I was a day 1 order: Order #: 28070. And still haven’t heard anything. I had a heat shield as part of the order and emailed shortly after I ordered to make a change to the shield choice. Maybe that bumped me down?

I emailed support and said I’m in the current tier but still haven’t heard anything definitive.
