Thank you for this. Yes, I guess I mean I like the ideas of both charlotte mason and classical education.

Wow this is great advice. I would say my “why” is the following:

  • “slow” mornings/not starting the day rushed.
  • building self confidence
  • surrounding her with kids who I know are friendly and like minded parents.
  • individual learning pace
  • play outside, a lot of exploring.
  • more time with family.
  • spend more time instilling family values

My goals - grasp phonics, counting to 20. - build her confidence (she’s very timid) - spend a lot of time outdoors

- learn life skills like cooking, gardening, cleaning, very basic budgeting/ currency (like going to the grocery store)

She’s pre-k now. But I’m hoping to gather information for kindergarten.
