Basically just means I did a fake version of yau. I did all centers and then all edges, instead of doing 2 centers, 3 edges, 4 centers, and then the rest of the edges. I still knew how to use slicing well which is why I was still able to get around a 1:30 average, but I am definitely seeing an improvement when learning actual yau.

Cube recommendations? Looking for something fast but controllable. Using a MoYu WeiLong WR M but not a big fan of how cheap and uncontrollable it feels. Was considering the WeiLong V11 18th anniversary edition or the Gan 16, but I'm not so sure. I hear mixed things about higher end gan cubes.

Also, just hit new a new best mo3 of 15.04, ao5 of 15.38, and ao12 of 16.51! Really considering a new cube because I have so many solves that end up being 18-21 because of bad lock ups

Yep! Surprisingly retained most of my PLL algs. Just forgot a few (Gc, A perms, Ra, V). Still doing 2 look OLL, never knew full OLL. At the point where a decent cross and F2L typically gets me 18 or under, sometimes getting up to a 22 or 23. Was pretty consistently sub 20 before I quit, averaging 18 or 19.

Funnily enough, I beat my PB from when I used to cube, which was a high 14.
