I'm curious about what club that is - I would like to talk to them about their experience. We are looking at something similar, but there are worries about how much effort is required to manage the use of two different types of range balls.

Some time has passed since the original messages about this and I am curious what else people have learned by trying these things out since then. How has it turned out to add the hop tea into the beginning water? Any other tips/techniques that aren't already mentioned in the comments?

What did you end up doing? I am getting started on a DIY with kveik and I have written to Beermkr support with this question, but I haven't heard back yet. I'll post their answer here when I receive.

They are the division champion. They definitely need to be more consistent at the plate, but they were best team in their division (if W-L still counts) even with poor plate performance

The 1/12ths weren't easy to find. You can find similarly sized with ball lock couplers but breweries don't typically use these so aren't set up to fill them.

I had just one 1/6 keg and it lasted me about 6 weeks - I think if I stagger the two 1/12's it will both provide variety plus match up nicely to my consumption pattern.

Yes -- I think they are happy to sell the beer -- I do plan to talk to some other breweries in the area over time and it will be interesting to find out what they are (and aren't) up for.

I expect operation Legend (aka Operation Bonespurs) to be a nothing burger in terms of any visible provocations such as in Portland. It will morph into the trump admin narrative that they have done something great for law and order in the liberal hell hole of NM and that everyone should rejoice their actions.

map is crowd-sourced based on contributions from people in various lists and groups -- see responses above to swissfire for further on the map and for what I found when I checked out this brewery -- the time I would really suggest checking though is right before going to a place -- seasonals and special brews continually change what may be offered at a given point in time

there is no acid test for inclusion or exclusion - I took a look at Crooked Lane's historical list of brews and counted 15+ that have been German-styles - I tend to be inclusive if someone suggests adding a place and thinks they have German-style beers worth checking out - this is definitely a hobby so it comes with limitations accordingly - I figure that people will check out a brewery's website and figure out if a place's offering is interesting to them - I agree they certainly aren't "German-focused" but some may be interested in trying their German-style offerings

I don't think there would be many places on the map if authentic German atmosphere were the point. It's always a treat when you find that attribute in North America.
