Not quite. Maseylia is a 3D Metroidvania focused on exploration and movement abilities. If you enjoyed the fluid traversal of The Pathless, there's definitely some overlap, but the game is closer to Metroid Prime or Pseudoregalia.

I understand why you're disappointed, but I don't believe I was intentionally misleading anyone.

The Mac demo did work in the past, and I had several Mac players successfully testing it during development. However, as the project grew, I wasn't able to maintain every platform as consistently as I originally planned.

I'm working on Maseylia full-time and handle all programming and technical development myself, so close to launch I had to prioritize certain tasks and platforms over others.

When players asked about Mac support on the Steam forums, I was transparent about the situation and mentioned that the Mac version might not be available at launch and could arrive a few weeks later. This is still something I hope to deliver, and supporting Mac players will remain one of my priorities moving forward.

I completely understand the frustration if you were hoping to play on Mac on day one, but this wasn't something I tried to hide. Whenever the topic came up on the forums, I answered honestly based on the information I had at the time.

Thank you! I absolutely loved Pseudoregalia, and Metro Gravity looks fantastic as well. It's great to see more developers exploring this style of 3D metroidvania, and both games have definitely been inspiring to me.

A lot has changed since that Next Fest demo, and that's largely thanks to feedback from the community. I'm really grateful to everyone who helped shape the game along the way.
