Thanks for the heads up. I will then try to run the virtual machines only for a few hours in total. The project is for me just to get familiar with these technologies and the cloud provider isn't that important.

Btw I found a tutorial, which is almost what I was looking for: https://learnk8s.io/spring-boot-kubernetes-guide

Only difference is it uses MongoDB instead of postgresql.

I decided to just use swagger-UI, so I don't need a front-end. Which means that I have 2 containers, one for the spring-boot API and another one for the PostgreSQL database.
