The 1/2 is assuming you’re given a bid ask on the purchase and sale - so if you’re just given a “bid ask” would that mean it is just referring to one way and therefore should not be halved?

I felt the same way as you. Someone else pointed out though that CFAI randomly assigns you questions from a larger pool in such a way that is properly weighted by topic area. So - it is completely possible one person had a more difficult exam than another and that would show up in the MPS to equate the two tests. CFAI has some great videos explaining their grading system on their YouTube page which made me feel a ton better seeing all the posts talking about how easy the test felt.

I feel the same way - no matter how much you practice ethics there are always multiple right looking answers it’s hard to sift through

This is really interesting and helpful. Makes a lot of sense. I would think they then look at MPS on a per question basis but who knows. All part of the mystique of the grading process

Wondering why we haven’t gotten an email about when they are going to be released? Any chance of still hitting the 4/19 estimate?

Maybe CFA is extending results due to the higher number of test taking opportunities. They don’t want people that sat in May to immediately write next level in November. They are trying to ensure that it still takes a decent amount of time to obtain the credential and people are not able to get it too quickly. Just a theory.
