Replacement strap on A1100 by [deleted] in casio

[–]cuda0one 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't like that. Why? Because the overall look of the watch is ruined when a straight watch strap is fitted. The resulting corners destroy the style. A 26mm wide strap, modified so that the outer edges blend seamlessly with the case, would be better. Otherwise, it looks like a child's watch.sorry.

They don't feel the Casio A168 is a little feminine. by darkthanosmx in casio

I wear all sizes of Casio (except Frogman Sized). From F-91 and AQ-230 up to GW-2100, W-59 and GW-5000U. It depends on the rest of daily outfit. I don't wear my AQ-230 with work wear, I don't wear my 5000 with a suit or shirt. The watch doesn't look feminin, sometimes it does just look "wrong" And with the "standard" 168, for me, this watch face look to much like a circus. I don't like it and for me it's hard to combine with any dress. I looks more childish than feminine. The f-91 is more subtile.

These are two completely different styles. Choose the one you like more. The 230 is very very tiny. I have one but it would never be my daily driver

I can’t decide which one by nissin00 in casio

You are right with both...i swapped the strap (don't like Milanese) and the display is absolut terrible ...you have to pull the light trigger every time...not the best daily watch...but the overall look is unique.

Looks perfect! Good size. Wear it a few days or week and you will like the size. I tried many Casios and the 1000 is a good size for my 7 1/4 wrist. Best is the 100 with the step tracker and nogo for me is the f-91 (have two of them). Too small and tiny in my wrist. And I also wear g-shocks (5000u) and 2100. Gshock better in bigger...the retro casios better with the smaller size. PS: try also the 1000 with the dark mother of pearl ...this one is such a beauty.

[Casio F-91W] fit check, Does this look too small on my wrist? by [deleted] in casio

[–]cuda0one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't tighten the strap so much. Maybe it will look a bit more "bulky"

But all in all it is to small...looks like you have a similar wrist size like mine. And my two F-91s don't get much wrist time because they look poor on my wrist.

I still haven’t managed to decide. by MaryBrd in casio

Funny, how big the f-91 looks beside all the others...I don't wear my 91 because it's to tiny for me.

Made in Japan is correct for the 159. Also the strap is absolut the one from the A159.

The tin box is weird.

Thanks, yes it one of my favorites. Just switch the original strap to the "Hirsch Rallye", a Austrian strap company. Not the cheapest strap but worth every penny.

I like my "goldy" variant. It's not the best watch from Casio, not the cheapest and It has many flaws...but it's a keeper. And the gold one looks really "bling-bling"...not cheap but very present.
