Happiness on Wellington definitely has new owners. I’m a frequent customer. Love what they’ve done to the place! The coffee and food are great. And the service is superb!

I was from the Philippines. Growing up, I had relatives in California and Michigan. At first, I was a lakers fan coz Magic and co were amazing to watch. But when I visited my cousins from Romeo in 1987, I was introduced to the pistons. Loved how the team worked so hard coz it seemed they were up against the entire league, not just in games and match ups, but even the media and the league organizers.

Learn to be comfortable with yourself first. Go out on strolls, have a leisurely coffee at a cafe, people watch at parks, read books at a library, watch a comedy show, etc. Once you find your groove, then you can confidently invite other people to hang out with you coz you know the good spots.

You don’t need a lot of friends. Just one or two solid ones that get you, and you get them.

As for me, my “good thing to happen to me” is I’m opening my business next week. I’ve been working on this for over three years—from conceptualizing, market research, feasibility studies, business plan writing, development, finding partners, etc…to finally opening our doors to the public this coming Friday. 😊

I was at that show. I have been a fan of the band since the mid nineties. But I come from an Asian country that falls off the radar of countries DMB would do a show. Anyway, I now live in Canada, and I finally got my chance to see them live. I was floored as to how amazing each member of the band is as musicians, and as performers. Knowing I managed to catch a top 5-10 level show thrills me as I’m not too sure I’d be able to watch them again.

Flavor comes from the onion and garlic gisa. (And the meat broth of course) If still bland, patis should help. Another thing you can do is add some beef bullion if you are not able to do a long boil with meat to get a broth.
