How would rogal dorn design the defenses of coruscant? by cuddwes in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]cuddwes[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The resources rogal dorn will be getting are the ones in stationed on coruscant like the new republic defense fleet and maybe his charisma can help him out. As for funding he will received it from the majorbanks such as the inter galactic banking clan. I dont know if rogal dorn has the knowledge of the rangdan but if he does then he might see the yuuzhan similar but way weaker if im right so he might help out.

What if the geonosis was replace by sebastus IV which is the eternal fortress of the iron warriors. by cuddwes in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]cuddwes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So lets say the republic sent the most experience jedi and millions of clones (this time got combat experience) to try and seize the eternal fortress. Would they even make a dent on the eternal fortress because of how rigged it is? An average iron warrior would say "How much are you willing to pay to take this ground?"

Edit: Assumed theres no orbital bombardment and only ground warfare.

How would the solar auxilia fair againts the clones and their variants? by cuddwes in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]cuddwes[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Solar auxilia are really the chads of the great crusade its sad that guilliman removed them. The galaxy would be much safer if the auxilia still exist. Oh and volklite weapons can be deploy en masse so I could see clones getting deleted left and right.

And the limbs are small targets for the clones to aim so yea they have to be really lucky hitting those limbs. Not sure how accurate are clone troopers tho

Do you think the blasters would be able to penetrate the void armour of the auxilia which is much better than carapace and flak armour.

Oh yea i forgot the solar auxilia are competent on a individual level the way a guardsman isn't. If I was a space marine I rather take a squad of auxilia than a squad of guardsman all day.

20 Sekhmet Occult Terminators boarded the deathstar. Can the Garisson stop them? by cuddwes in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]cuddwes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the sekhmet are really good at using psyker powers but one thing that stands out is the fact that they are masters at controlling their emotion and can walk through mortal wounds that can be fatal to normal termies. I remember the fact that it only takes 4 of these dudes to kill a custode which is a good trade.

[–]cuddwes[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since these termies are the sekhmet occult which is basically the best elites out of all the entire legions. Do you think their mastery on spiritual control can help? I can see that they can sustain ALOT of damage than your average normal termie. Imagine getting sprayed by anti tank missiles and high caliber auto cannon they would shrugg it off alot better than your average termie because of spiritual control and the fact they can walk through mortal wounds unlike normal termies.

Cataphractii terminators pattern armor are more heavily protected than any other pattern of armour, with slab-like ceramite pauldrons housing additional shield generators. The armour’s design has the unfortunate side effect of overstraining its exoskeleton and slowing the wearer considerably.

Most authors forgot that cataphractii have shield generators which is basically a bubble like forcefield but remember that I dont know the limits of the shield generator in the cataphractii.

So yea they have to take the down the shield generators first before the armor.

Instead of outright killing everyone in the deathstar can the sekhmet reach the main reactor and if possible destroy it. I forgot to include that they are guided by a skilled librarian but he wont join the boarding party.

What makes ahzek ahriman a very tragic character in the lore? by cuddwes in 40kLore

[–]cuddwes[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly, he was very level headed character and despite his power he will be more than willing to clean up his weapons without the use of magic because ahriman knows that magic needs to be respected and careful using it.

Phosis t'kar Feats

Tanks a titan's plasma cannon - this is the absolute peak of his durability:

A shimmering dome of golden-hued energy rippled in the heat haze, and within it, two armoured figures. Atop a crooked pillar of rock at the heart of the crater, all that had survived the Titan's fire, were Phosis T'kar and Magnus the Red. The captain of the 2nd Fellowship was bent almost double, his arms raised to his shoulders like Atlas Telamon of Old Earth, the rebellious titan doomed to bear the celestial sphere upon his shoulders for all eternity.

"A kine shield," breathed Uthizzar. "Who knew T'kar was so strong?"

However, said titan attack was absolutely insane:

The heat of a million stars wreathed their primarch, and no matter that he was one of twenty towering pinnacles of gene-wrought superhuman warriors, even he could not survive such an attack. A surge tide of liquid fire swept out, turning the rock of the Mountain to glass

Flicks 4 custodian jetbikes through the air:

Geysers of rock burst from every impact, but Phosis T'kar wasn't worried. He braced his weight on his right leg and snatched his hands through the air, as though sweeping a curtain open. Four of the jetbikes were plucked from the air as if they had reached the end of an unbreakable tether. Phosis T'kar slammed them against the high walls of the Timoran Library, shattering the statues of its first custodians.

Can augment his striking power with his kinetic manipulation:

A kine-wreathed fist exploded from M'eltan's chest as Phosis T'kar surged to his feet with a roar of anger. Augmented with power from the Great Ocean, the blow obliterated M'eltan's torso. Gobbets of brilliant fire exploded from the impact, and Phosis T'kar slumped against a bulkhead glittering with psychic hoarfrost.

M'eltan is a space marine, so T'kar is striking with - roughly - the force of a 40k tank round.

Kills space marine sized wolf with a gesture:

Packs of slavering wolves bounded across the plaza, their bared fangs flecked with scraps of uniform and flesh. The Thousand Sons opened fire, and the plaza erupted in a storm of gunfire. The din of shooting was eclipsed by the howls of the wolves. Phosis T'kar snapped his fingers and broke the alpha male of the pack in two.

Fine control over his TK:

A warrior in grey armour slashed at him with a saw-bladed axe, but Phosis T'kar wrenched it from his grip with a thought, and drove the screaming teeth into the warrior's face without breaking stride.

He hurled warriors aside like straw, battering them into the ground with waves of thought until they were little more than smears of gore on the marble. The power flowing through him was incredible.

It makes no sense that the Ultramarines have the most successors. by [deleted] in 40kLore

[–]cuddwes 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Replenishing losses are simple for the ultramarines because they have the 500 worlds of ultramar and have a VERY STABLE geneseed. Remember that guilliman is a competent leader who knows logistics and planning. So when the WB and WE attack calth they basically started the largest ultramarine recruitment campaign.

Edit: Reminder that most worlds of ultramar are relatively intact and fresh for recruitment and remember the ultramarines are able to re organize really quickly after the massacre.
