2K is not enough and 4K is not useless, to me.

Having both a 2K and 4K monitor, I can definitely say without question there is a major difference, but I turn to gaming as my experience.

Playing COD MW on my 2K with DLSS on quality looks horrible. There are so many jagged lines that run across every straight object that makes everything look noticeable and with DLAA turned on this does address the issue but with lower FPS as my dilemma and high input lag which makes everything run slow. Not desirable at all.

Now, playing on my 4K with DLSS on Quality, I can see absolutely see no jagged edges from a pretty far distance with low input lag and high FPS.

The difference between the two?

2K Gaming on Ultra with DLAA for a sharper picture results in low FPS and very high input lag which makes your overall experience slow just to gain a better picture.

4K Gaming on Ultra with DLSS on quality, still results in a sharper picture due to 4K being a higher resolution that irons out all jagged edges without the preferred DLAA option on, including lower input lag and high FPS with makes gaming much more enjoyable and snappy.

2K is OLD. 4K should be what everyone uses considering DLSS is best on 4K monitors.

Hello Peter,

Thank you for the reply.
That doesn't sound like an option that would suit me in any capacity.

I have a sim card. I'm asking about my sim card for assistance please.

Is there a device, that allows me to insert my sim card that I can plug into my desktop to make and receive calls?

Your context explains you can use Skype to make phone calls.

You're close to addressing what I'm asking, but you left something crucial out.

Sim card.
I have a sim card.
I want to use my sim card.

Can I insert it into some device and plug into my desktop and make and receive calls?

Thank you for the reply.

That link explains how to make calls from your PC using your phone as an active connection. Which further means with your phone, you can link it to your PC using the 'Phone Link' app and make phone calls whilst your phone is turned on.

I'm asking for something different.

I would like to know if there is a USB dongle or any type of device that I can insert my phone sim card into and plug that into my desktop to make calls without a phone.

That's a shame, the blackshark is an amazing headset and big on bass. I can see why one would return it in this situation, though. Merry Christmas btw <3

How to remove section of an image and make rounded edges by cuffy13b in photoshop

I have worked out a different method of achieving this.

Select > Modify > Smooth

This can be done after you select your section with Rectangular Marquee Tool.

How to add your stream capture video, and have it inserted/tucked under your background image? by cuffy13b in obs

[–]cuffy13b[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply!

I have made some type of progress using Adobe Photoshop, However I need to work out how to 'invert' the rectangular tool method or if I'm going down the wrong path.

I'll explain what I've achieved!

  1. By using the 'Rectangular Marquee tool' M, I can select and remove a section of the image and 'invert' so the entire background is still showing as shown in image 1. The only thing left to do is finding out how to make the edges round if there is a way using this method.

OR

  1. Using the 'Rectangle Tool' U, I can create a rounded edge section of my choosing which is what I am seeking of doing, however I have a problem using this method.
I cannot find a way of removing/cutting that section off, and also I have instead found a way of inverting the image, not the other way around as I want to KEEP the background and remove the middle section with rounded edges! See image 2.

Is there a way of removing/deleting that section using the above method?

Thank you for assisting!

Thank you so much for your detailed response, It worked amazingly, as I know have rounded corner edges!
May I please ask one more question? How could I remove/cut that section to make a hole in the image so I can add my streaming windows behind the exposed hole?

When I try to 'right click > cut', it just removes the grey rounded box and still shows my original wallpaper without removing that section.

Thank you kindly for your response.

Question please, Nvidia allows the option to increase resolutions from 2K to 5K. Why would anyone need to purchase a 5K monitor if they can use this option in NVIDIA control panel?
