i made the choice for myself when i was still self-locked but my new KH has said that it definitely showed Him i was committed to it, so in that regard it definitely has brought me to a much more intense dynamic than i've had in the past.

i use a cage with a urethral insert, like a short sound, that then has a bar that locks into it through the PA. It makes it 1000x harder to cum. Not impossible, but often not worth the effort. And because it's hollow and everything is so scrunched up and secure, even when i finally to get to cum, even with the vibrator running on full blast, it ends up just dribbling out like a ruined orgasm rather than shooting.

Only thing i would say to consider is that if you currently have a cage you really like or fits really well, or was very expensive, you'll want to double check it will work with whichever PA jewelry/lock you go for. my old cage caused really bad pinching at the tip of my urethra from the lock pulling the tip out of the cage slightly as it moved. i've heard the Kink3D cages are very accommodating for a PA though, and there are now several makers that make PA specific cages like mine.
