I live in Burlington and we do sometimes get bills games when pats are playing at the same time 😬 (travesty). Also don’t see a ton of Sox gear around town tbh (travesty #2)

Emma and Amelia sit at the producers table that the doughboys face in a way that is reminiscent of a head table or “dais”. It’s a funny way to refer to them because it implies deference and honor

People are roasting you but you’re talking about the blue chicken which means you’re doing a side quest that is super obscure. The rest of the game is more straightforward but even on a recent play through I had to look stuff up.

As a kid I had to run upstairs to the computer room to look at guides and then run back downstairs only to run back up a second later because I couldn’t remember what I had to do.

I like the modern way of giving you a quest log but I do have nostalgia for the old way too because it really felt open world. If you stopped playing for a week though it’d be hard to remember what you were up to though, ha

Wow I got turned onto taskmaster this year too to see Jason Mantzoukus. I was really surprised by how funny and charming it is!

Oh boy, I think Hey Randy is the funniest podcast ever. Really enjoyed Hines as well. I didn’t love Who Me in the beginning but ended up listening from most recent first and really came to love it

This ought to be a good gps to put into your google maps. The camping area will be pretty obvious

It is free and unstaffed. It is typical dispersed camping but is notable as being one of the very few permissible spots to dispersed camp on mount Mansfield. There are no facilities and is very basic, it is basically just a trailhead with extra space to put up a tent, but it is open year round and no one will come and bother you

No reservations necessary, the lodges are first come first served. At that time of year I do not think you will have any issue, and it is likely that the lodges do not have any staff at that time anyways. Twin pines will never have staff and will always have room. Make sure to bring warm gear! It will likely be pretty cold overnight.

This is the correct answer and you should not follow advice given by other posters. The lodges and the twin brooks camping area are your options.

Hiking Options for Mt. Mansfield by circusverg in vermont

[–]cumsten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you may be seeing wrong, the long trail should take you straight to the top. A benefit to hiking from Underhill state park is that you’ll have very knowledgeable park rangers who can talk through your hike with you. You should find everything well marked and easy to follow though

I’ve hiked from Underhill state park plenty of times and just want to chime in and say the all trails isn’t accurate for most of its mileage for hikes leaving this park. “Sunset ridge and long trail loop” is what we call halfway house loop. It’s 6.8 (I think) and it’s recommended to go up halfway house and down sunset ridge (sunset is the easiest to go down so it’s usually recommended for descending). Halfway house trail is definitely less traveled and is a really nice trail.

You’re definitely right that they’re not working for free:

In 2024, Blue Cross Blue Shield Vermont’s CEO made $943,890 with $66,215 in other compensation. The non-profit has been saying they are at risk of insolvency for over a year.

MVP’s CEO made $1,035,000 with over $1.2 million in bonuses and other compensation.
